AsturCON.tech is a cybersecurity conference that will be held this year on November 14 and 15 at the Niemeyer Center in Avilés. It has established itself as a key meeting point for professionals, companies, students, and institutions interested in digital security. Organized by the Organization for Research in Offensive Cybersecurity (ORICIO), it offers conferences, workshops, and round tables on topics such as hacking, forensic analysis, malware, deepfakes, IoT, and emerging threats in the digital sphere.

The international forum World in Progress Barcelona 2025 will be held on October 20 and 21 at the Palau de Congressos de Catalunya, organized by Grupo PRISA, EL PAÍS, and Cadena SER. This event will bring together prominent political leaders, intellectuals, and businesspeople to discuss the major global challenges of the 21st century.

Among its multiple themes are the major global challenges of the 21st century, including globalization, climate change, digital transformation, misinformation, and humanitarian crises.. Its significance lies in fostering dialogue among political leaders, businesspeople, academics, and citizens, proposing concrete solutions, and promoting international consensus. Additionally, it plays a key role in reflecting on technology and ethics, assessing the social impact of digitalization and artificial intelligence, the need for regulatory and ethical frameworks, the responsibility of governments and companies, and protection against misinformation and digital manipulation.

On Thursday, December 11, the 7th Edition of Cybersecurity Uncovered will take place in the auditorium of the Cabueñes University Hospital in Gijón. This key initiative aims to raise awareness about cybersecurity from various perspectives—technical, ethical, and legal—providing essential training and promoting a cultural shift across multiple sectors.

In this edition, the event will focus on the healthcare sector, a critical area facing increasingly advanced and sophisticated cybersecurity challenges.

The nineteenth edition of ENISE (International Information Security Meeting) will take place on October 14, 15, and 16 at the León Conference and Exhibition Center and its surroundings.

At the ENISE event, expert conferences and presentations are combined with roundtable discussions on current topics, practical cybersecurity workshops, showcases of technological solutions, and networking opportunities, all aimed at updating knowledge, highlighting innovations, and promoting collaboration in the field of information security.

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming Carla Álvarez Sanjurjo, Director General of Employment, and María Olga Fernández González, Technician of the Service for Promotion, Development, and Innovation of the Local Employment Agency of Gijón/Xixón, to our PCTG building. Their visit aimed to see firsthand the subsidized course with a hiring commitment, including the training, planned content, and the theoretical-practical methodology we apply.

We would like to extend our gratitude for the interest and support in this type of specialized training in Gijón.

This past weekend, an article was published about AI.Rony, the project we are developing with the aim of applying artificial intelligence to the analysis of public image on the internet.

Thanks to Diario El Comercio and Laura Mayordomo for giving visibility to this project born in Asturias, which demonstrates how AI can add value to communication and reputation management.

This Monday, the 22nd, the course on Administrative Management of R&D&I Projects Funded by CDTI and European Programs, promoted by the Gijón City Council, has begun and we will be delivering it until October 31st.

We are delighted to begin the training of technical-administrative staff specialized in the management of publicly funded R&D&I projects. This course places special emphasis on the framework of European projects, CDTI, and the European Data Spaces, providing key tools and knowledge for the successful management of these programs. We are very motivated and grateful for the opportunity to deliver this course, and we look forward to sharing our experience and supporting the participants in their professional development over the coming sessions.

From October 1 to 3, León will host Data Forum 2025, an international event focused on innovation, data management, and digital transformation, combining conferences, hands-on workshops, and networking opportunities.

Data Forum 2025 will bring together experts, professionals, and companies from around the world to discuss and showcase the latest trends in artificial intelligence, data analytics, big data, and emerging technologies. Over three days, attendees can participate in conferences, panel discussions, practical workshops, and technology demonstrations, as well as establish strategic connections that foster collaboration and knowledge exchange in the field of innovation and data management. The event will take place at the Ciudad de León Auditorium and the Faculty of Law.

On September 9th, an enriching working lunch was held with young entrepreneurs as part of the JOVEN EMPRENDA 2025 Clinic Program.
