Next Friday, May 22, Gijón Impulsa to host a key meeting on data spaces
Four Asturian organizations — CTIC, Futuver, Libelium and FINBA — will gather on Friday, May 22 at the Edificio Impulsa in Gijón to address one of today's biggest challenges: how to share data ethically, securely and in compliance with regulations. The event, which will start at 9:00 AM with a breakfast and networking coffee, will include a roundtable with Chus García (CTIC), José María Pérez (Futuver), Ana Lodeiro (Libelium) and Daniel Álvarez (Finba), where real-world projects, governance challenges and key insights for generating value from data will be discussed.
The event, promoted by Castroalonso with the support of the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Civil Service and CRED (Data Spaces Reference Center), will also feature a live demo of Data-X, the intelligent solution designed to assess regulatory compliance of data spaces. Gijón’s Deputy Mayor, Ángela Pumariega, will close the session at 10:30 AM. Attendance is free, and those interested can obtain more information through the tool’s website: DATA-X | Data Spaces Validation.
