Yesterday we shared a day of awareness and training on cybersecurity with Grupo Junquera Marítima employees thanks to the agreement signed between the University of Oviedo and INCIBE.

The White Night was presented yesterday by Yolanda Alonso, Councillor for Culture and Promotion of the City of Avilés, Anabel Barrio, director of the Cultural Factory, Angélica García, owner of the Amaga Gallery, Santos González, Professor of Algebra at the University of Oviedo and director of the Castroalonso Chair, and José Manuel García, President of the UCAYC.

Among all the activities, we highlight the workshop on mathematics, cryptography and cybersecurity, organized by the Castroalonso Chair of Cybersecurity and Digital Environment of the University of Oviedo and directed by María Esther Lorenzo Fernández. It will take place on June 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Avenida de Portugal, 13.

On May 31st, the VII Quality Conference will be held in the Assembly Hall of the University Hospital of Cabueñes.

Our partner Jaime López Martínez will be a speaker at the conference Oh, I’ve been hacked! which will take place between 12:30 and 13:30.

This event will also host the XVIII Edition of the Quality Plan Awards.

The General Assembly of AEFAS Members will be held on June 5 at the Hotel de la Reconquista in Oviedo.

The day will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will conclude with lunch at the hotel and we will be accompanied by representatives of companies such as ALSA, GAM and ESCRIBANO, as well as the presidents of the family business associations of Alicante, Castilla y León and a member of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Family Business.

Next Thursday, May 30, the Annual Assembly of the Asturias Defense Hub will be held at the facilities of RHEINMETALL EXPAL MUNITIONS S.A.U located at Av. Soto Mayor, 33119 Trubia, Asturias.

Yesterday, May 27, the conference "Digital Transformation from a humanistic vision" took place, organized by the Tera Cluster. The main objective of this event was to offer a snapshot of how information and communication technologies are affecting different social groups.

On June 7, the "Day on Cybercrime and Cybersecurity" will be held in the ICA Oviedo Assembly Hall.

It will take place between 9:30 and 13:30.

On Tuesday, June 4 at 12:00 there will be a new meeting from the Castroalonso Chair of Cybersecurity and Digital Environment: "Ethical challenges of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and robotics in 21st century wars."

Juan A. Moliner González, retired Division General of the Air and Space Army and Vice President of the Academy of Military Sciences and Arts (ACAMI), will be in charge of imparting it.

The event will take place in the Aula Magna of the UNIOVI Historical Building.

Tomorrow, May 22 at 5:00 p.m., the conference "Symbiotic relationship between artificial intelligence and cybersecurity" will be held at the Faculty of Sciences of Oviedo.

It will be given by Llorenç Huguet Rotguer, Professor of Computer Science and former rector of the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), founder of the RECSI and director of the Technological Innovation in Cybersecurity Unit (UNITCIB) of the UIB.
