Recently, Castroalonso has joined the National Network of SOCs (RNS), whose main aim is to boost the protection service of its members by almost immediately blocking any sign of irregular activity that is being detected at any point of the Administration.

On June 27, 2024 at 6:30 p.m., the event "Nobel Prize Conversations: The impossible takes longer" will be organized at the headquarters of the Ramón Areces Foundation.

It will be attended by George Smoot (Nobel Prize in Physics 2006) and Katalin Karikó, (Nobel Prize in Medicine 2023).

Subsequently, a colloquium will be opened by Mara Dierssen, a world expert in the field of Down syndrome research. The dialogue will be moderated by Adam Smith, scientific director of Nobel Prize Outreach.

Today the Assembly of the Asturias Smart City Cluster is held in the Assembly Hall of the multipurpose building of the Polytechnic School of Engineering of Gijón, on the Viesques campus.

In addition to the Assembly Act with the partners, there will be a presentation open to the public, by Pablo Arboleda, director of the Smart Cities Chair, under the title: “Management of Flexibility in electricity distribution networks. Challenges and solutions for electrification”.

Castroalonso, holding the vice-presidency of the Board of Directors, is part of the day.

Yesterday the conference "Face Up Project. Proposals for the 21st century with roots in the 19th century. From benefits policies to social impact", public presentation of the Face Up project (Factory Cities of Europe: United in Partnership). The meeting took place at the Asturias Railway Museum.

From 18 to 21 June, INCIBE's virtual reality experience, PassVRord, will be open to the public in the square of the cathedral of Oviedo from 9-14 and 16.30-19.30h.

The tent will have a training area where, through a series of training pills, basic cybersecurity guidelines will be learned to apply in our daily lives.

On the other hand, there will be a gamification area that will allow attendees to live an immersive experience with virtual reality glasses focused on solving cybersecurity challenges related to everyday life.
