Ciberseguridad al Descubierto 2024

Next Thursday, December 12, at the "Escuela Superior de la Marina Civil de Gijón", will take place the VI Edition of "Ciberseguridad al Descubierto", a key initiative to increase awareness of cybersecurity, providing essential training and promoting a cultural change in various industries.

12th Conference of the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation in Spain

On 28 November, the twelfth edition of the Framework Programme Conference was held in Spain, whose main objective is to analyse the functioning of Horizon Europe and its major initiatives so far, organised by the CDTI, in collaboration with the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, the European Commission, the European Commission, the City Council of Oviedo and Sekuens.

On 28 November, the twelfth edition of the Framework Programme Conference was held in Spain, whose main objective is to analyse the functioning of Horizon Europe and its major initiatives so far, organised by the CDTI, in collaboration with the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, the European Commission, the European Commission, the City Council of Oviedo and Sekuens.

During the Conference, the results of our country’s participation will also be analysed to draw conclusions that will help Spanish entities to improve their participation and positioning strategies in Europe.

International Information Security Meeting – #18ENISE

On October 21, 22 and 23, the 18th edition of the International Meeting on Information Security, organized by the Spanish National Institute of Cybersecurity (INCIBE), took place at the "Palacio de Exposiciones de León".

Today’s edition of El Comercio echoes that high school students will receive cybersecurity classes “to learn to recognize threats”

Ángela Pumariega, Deputy Mayor of Gijón and Councillor for Economy, Employment, Tourism and Innovation, met with Santos González, Director of the Castroalonso Chair of Cybersecurity and Digital Environment at the University of Oviedo, Cristina Caldueño, Director of Operations at Castroalonso, and Carla Álvarez Sanjurjo, General Director of Employment Promotion of Gijón.

At this meeting, “the opportunity for the city to become a benchmark in cybersecurity” was highlighted, as well as advancing that in 2025 technological dissemination sessions will be held for high school students.
