Next January 29, the 1st National Data Spaces Meeting: sharing data, building the future will take place, an online event that will bring together the main players in the data economy field in Spain.

The event will feature interventions by ministers Óscar López (Ministry for Digital Transformation and Civil Service) and Mónica García (Ministry of Health), along with Raquel Yotti, commissioner of the PERTE for Advanced Health; Juan Fernando Muñoz, general secretary of Digital Health; and Noemi Civicos, general director of Digital Health.

Also participating will be professionals from Red.es, data space promoters and applicants for the Data Spaces Kit, as well as María González Veracruz (Secretariat of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence). From datos.gob.es – General Directorate of Data, Ruth del Campo will present the National Health Data Space (ENDS), while Antonio Alcolea Muñoz and Carlos Alonso Peña will serve as moderators for the round tables.

The meeting will address real use cases that demonstrate how data spaces make it possible to detect, prevent and make intelligent decisions based on shared information, improving people’s lives and driving businesses and administrations forward. Sectors such as health, agrifood and mobility are already taking advantage of these opportunities to anticipate infectious outbreaks, prevent pests or optimize services, among other examples.

Castroalonso will be present at the third day of Data Week in Asturias, where our colleague Dianet Jardines Galcerán will share her expertise in a panel dedicated to data governance, artificial intelligence and data spaces.

Castroalonso joins the third day of Data Week in Asturias, a benchmark event aimed at promoting strategic data management and collaboration between public administrations and companies. Tomorrow, December 3rd, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Gijón Science and Technology Park (AS5-Hub building), our colleague Dianet Jardines Galcerán will take part in a discussion panel focused on data governance, compliance in data spaces, artificial intelligence applied to public administration, and the role of data spaces as a driver of the digital economy. An opportunity to share knowledge, experiences, and strengthen the path toward more innovative and intelligent organizations.

On November 11th, 12th, and 13th, the Computer Science Conference will be held at IES Nº1 in Gijón, where our colleagues Dianet Jardines and Álvaro Sebastián Acosta will take part as speakers in one of the scheduled talks, which will take place on Wednesday, November 12th, at 10:00 a.m.

The presentations at the Conference aim to showcase emerging areas in the field of computer science, share firsthand the professional experiences of former vocational training students, and promote a close relationship among the different participants in the educational process: students, the educational center, and companies.

The XXIII APTE International Conference in Gijón brings together professionals, researchers, and innovation leaders to share experiences, foster collaboration, and drive economic development through science and technology parks.

Organized by the Spanish Association of Science and Technology Parks (APTE), this conference addresses key topics such as innovation, technology transfer, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. Through keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, and networking, it facilitates idea exchange and the creation of strategic partnerships. The event highlights the importance of innovation ecosystems and international collaboration to drive economic and technological transformation of territories. Additionally, it promotes the adoption of best practices and policies that strengthen competitiveness and sustainable growth within science and technology parks.
XXIII Conferencia Internacional – La economía azul como motor de la transformación territorial 

The 19th STIC CCN-CERT Conference, to be held from November 24 to 27, 2025, in Madrid, is established as the largest cybersecurity event in Spain and one of the leading forums internationally. Organized by the National Cryptologic Center (CCN), in collaboration with ESPDEF-CERT and RootedCON, it will bring together more than 7,000 professionals from the public and private sectors, as well as academia and the technical community.

The event will address the main trends and challenges in cybersecurity, including artificial intelligence, 5G, cyber intelligence, post-quantum cryptography, supply chain security, and advanced threats. With conferences, workshops, thematic panels, and practical labs, the conference promotes cooperation, knowledge sharing, and specialized training, strengthening Spain’s role as a key player in global cybersecurity.

AsturCON.tech is a cybersecurity conference that will be held this year on November 14 and 15 at the Niemeyer Center in Avilés. It has established itself as a key meeting point for professionals, companies, students, and institutions interested in digital security. Organized by the Organization for Research in Offensive Cybersecurity (ORICIO), it offers conferences, workshops, and round tables on topics such as hacking, forensic analysis, malware, deepfakes, IoT, and emerging threats in the digital sphere.

The international forum World in Progress Barcelona 2025 will be held on October 20 and 21 at the Palau de Congressos de Catalunya, organized by Grupo PRISA, EL PAÍS, and Cadena SER. This event will bring together prominent political leaders, intellectuals, and businesspeople to discuss the major global challenges of the 21st century.

Among its multiple themes are the major global challenges of the 21st century, including globalization, climate change, digital transformation, misinformation, and humanitarian crises.. Its significance lies in fostering dialogue among political leaders, businesspeople, academics, and citizens, proposing concrete solutions, and promoting international consensus. Additionally, it plays a key role in reflecting on technology and ethics, assessing the social impact of digitalization and artificial intelligence, the need for regulatory and ethical frameworks, the responsibility of governments and companies, and protection against misinformation and digital manipulation.

On Thursday, December 11, the 7th Edition of Cybersecurity Uncovered will take place in the auditorium of the Cabueñes University Hospital in Gijón. This key initiative aims to raise awareness about cybersecurity from various perspectives—technical, ethical, and legal—providing essential training and promoting a cultural shift across multiple sectors.

In this edition, the event will focus on the healthcare sector, a critical area facing increasingly advanced and sophisticated cybersecurity challenges.

The nineteenth edition of ENISE (International Information Security Meeting) will take place on October 14, 15, and 16 at the León Conference and Exhibition Center and its surroundings.

At the ENISE event, expert conferences and presentations are combined with roundtable discussions on current topics, practical cybersecurity workshops, showcases of technological solutions, and networking opportunities, all aimed at updating knowledge, highlighting innovations, and promoting collaboration in the field of information security.

From October 1 to 3, León will host Data Forum 2025, an international event focused on innovation, data management, and digital transformation, combining conferences, hands-on workshops, and networking opportunities.

Data Forum 2025 will bring together experts, professionals, and companies from around the world to discuss and showcase the latest trends in artificial intelligence, data analytics, big data, and emerging technologies. Over three days, attendees can participate in conferences, panel discussions, practical workshops, and technology demonstrations, as well as establish strategic connections that foster collaboration and knowledge exchange in the field of innovation and data management.
