On Tuesday, June 4 at 12:00 there will be a new meeting from the Castroalonso Chair of Cybersecurity and Digital Environment: "Ethical challenges of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and robotics in 21st century wars."

Juan A. Moliner González, retired Division General of the Air and Space Army and Vice President of the Academy of Military Sciences and Arts (ACAMI), will be in charge of imparting it.

The event will take place in the Aula Magna of the UNIOVI Historical Building.

Tomorrow, May 22 at 5:00 p.m., the conference "Symbiotic relationship between artificial intelligence and cybersecurity" will be held at the Faculty of Sciences of Oviedo.

It will be given by Llorenç Huguet Rotguer, Professor of Computer Science and former rector of the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), founder of the RECSI and director of the Technological Innovation in Cybersecurity Unit (UNITCIB) of the UIB.

On May 16, the first edition of the "Forum of Trends in People Management" will be launched under the slogan "New ways of working for new needs".

The meeting will take place this Thursday at 9:15 a.m. at the Bioparc Acuario Gijón.

Its agenda will cover the following topics:

• Legislative developments in labour matters
• Technology and people: how does it influence the future of organizations?
• What is the profile of the new digital leader? How to make the new generations fall in love.
• The reinvention of productivity.

On Saturday, May 25, the Fuerzas Armadas Day (DIFAS) 2024 will be celebrated in the Principality of Asturias, whose central act will be presided over by Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain.

The event, which will be held in Oviedo, will feature a tribute to the flag and the fallen and a land parade, while the day before it will take place in Gijón with a naval review and an aerial parade.

Yesterday we attended the conference "Crossing the Valley of Innovation: is technology or humans limiting the transport of the future?" held at the CTIC Information and Communication Technology Centre. This conference has made us reflect on the crucial role played by the human factor in the adoption and integration of emerging technologies in our society.

Today marks the end of the World Defense Show, one of the world's leading defense fairs, held in Saudi Arabia. Castroalonso is part of the Spanish delegation there, led by Incibe.

This event aims to show the future of the sector through international technological developments.

On January 25 and 26, the Microsoft Chair of Privacy and Digital Transformation and the Minsait-U.V. Legaltech & Artificial Intelligence Chair organized the "IV AI & Human Development Meeting. The Economics of AI: The Challenges of the AI Act" at the University of Valencia.

Miguel García-Menéndez, as a Member of the Monitoring Committee of the “Castroalonso” Chair of Cybersecurity and Digital Environment at the University of Oviedo, participated in the presentation “Legal challenges for the construction of infrastructures: data spaces”.
