The Esquema Nacional de Seguridad (RD 3/2010) ("National Security  Scheme High-Level Security Measures"), aims to provide clear guidelines to all public organizations in Spain, in compliance with spanish and EU security and privacy standards.

It stablishes core policies and mandatory security requirements that entities and their providers must meet, in order to ensure the access, integrity, availability, authenticity, confidentiality, traceability and preservation of data, information and services.

The Senate was the chosen scenario to give relevance to the Cybersecurity community. A place in which personalities from both the public and private sectors were able to share their digital perspectives in the face of cyber-threats.
