Today’s edition of El Comercio echoes that high school students will receive cybersecurity classes “to learn to recognize threats”
Ángela Pumariega, Deputy Mayor of Gijón and Councillor for Economy, Employment, Tourism and Innovation, met with Santos González, Director of the Castroalonso Chair of Cybersecurity and Digital Environment at the University of Oviedo, Cristina Caldueño, Director of Operations at Castroalonso, and Carla Álvarez Sanjurjo, General Director of Employment Promotion of Gijón.
At this meeting, “the opportunity for the city to become a benchmark in cybersecurity” was highlighted, as well as advancing that in 2025 technological dissemination sessions will be held for high school students.
